Virtual living? How Augmented Reality is transforming home life...

IKEA’s new 2014 catalogue app is one such example of a truly innovative use for AR technology.

Allowing customers to envision what a certain piece of furniture would look like in their homes through interacting with the company’s physical catalogue…

Yawn activated coffee machine

Sampling at it's best from Douwe Egberts.

They set up a coffee vending machine in an airport equipped with facial recognition technology that'll detect people yawning and serve free coffee as a response.

Great location, brilliant idea.

Enjoy the video below.

A 'Little' Taste of Home

I often get levelled with the challenge that Jersey (the land of my forefathers) is a bit like 'Trumpton'. (Those of you born in the 70's will know what I'm talking about!). Essentially a very small place full of very small people.

Well, a very clever chap with a special camera and a 'computer' has made a little film of little Jersey that makes it look, well, little.

Real life made to look like stop-motion miniatures.

I love it.

Enjoy!

Tech Sounds That We just Don't Hear Anymore

You're all probably too young to remember listening to C90 mix tapes on your Sony Walkman's but if you're not, enjoy this little trip down tech memory lane…

Molson Canadian - The Beer Fridge

A proud yet friendly demonstration, suitable for Canadians and Molson Canadian. Only Canadians can open the Molson Beer Fridge.

#IAMCANADIAN

People have long made fun of Canadians for being too nice, but it turns out that the Canadian generosity of spirit comes in handy when you have a hankering for a cold beer. Molson placed bright red refrigerators in cities, on piers, and even along remote roadsides across Europe over 10 days. The catch? They were only accessible by scanning a Canadian passport. Once opened--by a Canadian--the fridge revealed a stock pile of Molson Canadian beer, which could be enjoyed by all.
